Lesley Ninnes lives and works in St Ives. She is a member of the St Ives Society of Artists and an associate memberof the Penwith Society. Her paintings have been exhibited throughout Cornwall and nationwide. Ninnes' work encompasses a range of styles and subject matters. Her paintings explore light,symmetry, balance and colour.

Headland shelter was painted in 2013 and originally purchased through Artspace Gallery in St Ives.
